Bowland Tourism & Environment Fund

The BTEF is a visitor payback scheme operating within the Forest of Bowland AONB. All donations directly fund environmental projects within the AONB. The initiative enables tourism businesses, visitors and local communities to work together to benefit and protect the AONB.

Lancashire Invasive Species Project

Invasive species survey: The Lancashire Invasive Species Project needs your records of invasive species.

You can use the website to send us your records and see them appear on the map, or download a survey form to fill out. These records will form the basis of a management strategy to tackle invasive species which will be put into action early in 2012.

The website also has descriptions of some of the invasive species found in Lancashire and downloadable identification sheets.
